Summer Term Newsletter
Summer is here!
Welcome back to the summer term.
It was so lovely to see all the children this morning, smiling and happy to return to school in the sunshine!
We have a short half term, breaking up on Friday 27th May, with a Bank holiday on Monday 2nd May. School finishes for the summer on Thursday 21st July.
We are charging full pelt into this term though, and planning to bring everything back to St Martha's with a bang!
All after school clubs will start again next week. There will be sports clubs on offer for key stage 2, including Archery, Football, Cricket, Rounders, Basketball and Dodgeball (see separate letter coming out today)
Cooking club will start again for year 6 initially, art club for year 3 Blue and Messy art for year 2.
Dance will also continue for key stage 1 and Reception.
We are planning on entering the GEAR, and representing St Martha's together on 1st May.
We are also going to relaunch the food festival (13th July) details to follow later, and hoping to have an end of term summer fair and barbeque.
We are planning for sports days and will be welcoming parents back to assemblies again.
As you can probably tell, we are very excited to bring St Martha's back to it's pre-Covid glory! Please check Dojo for details of all events coming up to ensure that you don't miss anything.
